Can you please indicate the accuracy of the iPad dB sound recorders from the App store compared with the professional recorders.
For example are they say 90% less accurate or approx what??

SoundMeter or SoundMeter Pro running on an iPad can be just as accurate as a dedicated sound level meter. It depends on what kind of microphone you use and how well you calibrate it. To get a better idea, check out this article which references some research regarding sound level measurements using the iPhone’s built-in microphone.

I am looking for general microphone response charts for as many mobile devices as I can find. Is there any good resources you could recommend to help with this?
