This means that you can insert your iPhone (any model) or iPod touch (2G or later), plug in a phantom-powered measurement microphone, run <a href=\"http:\/\/itunes.com\/apps\/SoundMeter\" target=\"_blank\">SoundMeter<\/a>, and turn the unit upside down for a handheld (albeit somewhat large) sound level meter. Of course, if you use <a href=\"http:\/\/itunes.com\/apps\/SignalScopePro\" target=\"_blank\">SignalScope Pro<\/a>, you&#8217;ll also have access to 1\/3-octave and narrowband spectral analysis.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a title=\"SignalScope Pro on iPhone with a ProTrack\" href=\"http:\/\/www.faberacoustical.com\/fileadmin\/images\/iPhone\/SignalScope\/ProTrackSLM_HDR2_512w.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full    wp-image-261 aligncenter\" title=\"iPhone-ProTrack SLM\" src=\"http:\/\/www.faberacoustical.com\/fileadmin\/images\/iPhone\/SignalScope\/ProTrackSLM_HDR2_285w.jpg\" alt=\"SignalScope Pro on iPhone with a ProTrack\" width=\"285\" height=\"512\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>One downside is that the headphone output is completely blocked for the iPod touch.
