SignalScope X supports impact testing for modal analysis

In order to facilitate impact testing, measurement software generally requires several specific options, including reference input triggering with pre-trigger delay, force windowing for the reference input, exponential windowing for all inputs, and the ability to preview captured impulses and accept or reject the inclusion of the captured data in the final result. In version 11.2, SignalScope X now includes these capabilities within the Dual FFT Analyzer tool.

SoundMeter is free

  The standard features of SoundMeter, the original sound level meter app for iPhone, are now free. SoundMeter X, which has always been free to download, now includes all features of its SoundMeter Standard subscription for free. This means that the standard features of the Meter and Dosimeter tools are now permanently unlocked in SoundMeter X. The latest perpetual license version of SoundMeter, SoundMeter Basic 2018, has also been made a free download. Faber Mac apps now sold exclusively on the Mac App Store

With the release of version 3.9.2 of Electroacoustics Toolbox, SignalScope Pro, and SignalScope, as well as version 4.9.2 of SignalSuite, Faber Mac apps can no longer be purchased outside the Mac App Store. Free trial versions of these apps can still be downloaded from FaberAcoustical.com. Users who previously purchased these apps outside the App Store can continue to use the apps, as before. Serial number activation and deactivation support will continue.
